For a capstone project, Adele worked with a team to design a modular underwater diver propulsion vehicle (DPV) capable of operating in both single- and dual-motor configurations through an electrically integrated adapter system.

Adele's primary responsibility on this project was Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis using ANSYS, evaluating drag forces, studying flow behavior, and identifying regions of turbulence and flow separation. This work allowed the team to refine the external geometry to improve hydrodynamic efficiency and support higher operating speeds.
