Computational Fluid Dynamics

Capstone Project | 2026

For my capstone project, our team of four is designing a modular underwater diver propulsion vehicle (DPV) that can operate in both single- and dual-motor configurations through an electrically integrated adapter system.

My primary responsibility on this project is Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis using ANSYS, evaluating drag forces, studying flow behavior, and identifying regions of turbulence and flow separation. This allows us to refine the external geometry to improve hydrodynamic efficiency and support higher operating speeds.
